FAIRFIELD — The W.I.N.G.S. Homeless Veteran Program recently expanded, acquiring a trailer that has been converted into a rolling clothes closet.

An event to dedicate the trailer and inform people of Fairfield and Skowhegan about the program is set for 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at the United Methodist Church Fairfield, 37 Skowhegan Road. The trailer is located at the back of the church.

The program recently assisted a veteran who had his pack and everything he owned thrown in the river in Madison, according to a news release from Te Kelley with the program.

W.I.N.G.S. provides rehab bags for those seeking recovery.

For more information, call Kelley 207-612-8380.
