The Palermo Community Library plans to sponsor a chili fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the 2789 Route 3 library.
The cost is $7 for a 12-ounce container of homemade chili (spicy, mild or meatless), a cornbread muffin, a 16-ounce bottle of water, and two chocolate chip cookies. People can dine in, drive up, or carry out.
Advance orders will be accepted by calling 207-993-2040, 207-314-5930, or the library voicemail at 207-993-6088. Additional 12-ounce servings of chili can be purchased for $5 each.
While an order is being filled, people can also purchase tickets for the Pizza Night raffle at $1 per ticket or six for $5. A complete list of the raffle’s contents is listed at the library.
