Winners of the Aug. 22 game were Gabriele Rice and Suzon Morrison. Lynn Kershner and Jeanie Reillie were second, and Sylvia Palmer and Linda Atkinson placed third.
Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Aug. 23 were Nancy Lindgren and Nancy Lenfest.
Peter Rosenberg and Toby Frey placed second; Ron Cote and David Offer placed third.
The winners for Thursday August 24 were Fred and Lorrie Letourneau. Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami tied Dennis Purington and Paul Sherman for second place.
The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who want to play but need a partner can call Paul Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
