Elm City Bridge Club
Suzon Morrison and Gabriele Rice were the winners of Aug. 15 Elm City Bridge Club game.
Ed and Joyce Rushton tied with Di Bishop and Maureen Brochu for second, and Lee Lenfest and Natasha Rosenbaum placed third.
Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St.; new players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Aug. 16 were Jean Bird and Dennis Purington. Fred Letourneau and Sharron Hinckley placed second; Paul Mitnik and Paul Sherman placed third.
The winners for Aug. 17 were Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami. Fred and Lorrie Letourneau placed second.
The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who want to play but need a partner can call Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
