Elm City Bridge Club
The Elm City Bridge Club in Waterville winners during the Aug. 8 duplicate bridge session were Ed and Joyce Rushton. Lynn Kershner and Jeanie Reiling placed second, and Willy Pouliot and Janine Prewitt were third.
Games begin at 12:30 p.m. Tuesdays at the Waterville Elks Lodge, 76 Industrial St. New players are welcome.

Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club
The Capitol City Duplicate Bridge Club winners for Aug. 9 were Fred Letourneau and Sharron Hinckley. Nancy Lenfest and Nancy Lindgren placed second; Dot Murray and Lynn MacLeod placed third.
The winners for Aug. 10 were Paul Sherman and David Offer. Tom Simmons and Anil Goswami placed second.
The games are played at noon Wednesday and 6 p.m. Thursday at the East Winthrop Baptist Church, 55 Old Village Road.
Participants should bring a partner. Those who want to play but need a partner can call Paul Mitnik, the director, at 207-313-2648 at least two days in advance of the scheduled games.
