Melinda A. Voisine of Skowhegan was installed as district deputy for the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks for lodges in the Central District of the Maine Elks Association during the BPO Elks National Convention July 2-5 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She will serve a one-year term, according to a news release from Elks USA, based in Chicago, Illinois.

Thousands of members of the BPO of Elks of the United States of America and guests gathered at the convention.
