FREEDOM — The Sebasticook Regional Land Trust  plans to host a meditative walk through the Freedom Forest Preserve at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 15.

The event is led by Peter Wohl, a Maine registered guide and spiritual director of the Treetop Zen Center.

Walkers can make their way through this protected landscape, taking time to focus in on the sounds and sights along the trail and reflect on nature’s healing effects, according to a news release from Cheryl Daigle, SRLT program manager.

Wohl is the author of “Wild Mind, Wild Heart: Discover Your True Self in Nature.”

Participants are asked to meet at the Freedom Forest Preserve trailhead on North Palermo Road at 10 a.m. The walk will finish at approximately noon.

Attendees should RSVP at sebasticookrlt.org.
