The Whitefield Library is looking for donations for its annual used book and yard sale, set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8 at 1 Arlington Lane.

Items can be brought to the library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 7 or by 9 a.m. Saturday, July 8. Besides books, organizers are looking for small furniture, household and yard items and artwork. Clothing donations are not sought.

All proceeds go towards operating the library, according to a news release from Kathleen Goetzman with the library.

The day of the sale, music will be provided by Rusty Hinges, and baked goods, popcorn and library note cards will be for sale. The library will be open, and volunteers can help with card signup.

Attendees can look for the big yellow historic building at the corner of Arlington Lane and Grand Army Road, at the top of the hill.
