Winslow High School has announced its top 10 seniors for the class of 2023. They are listed in alphabetical order.

Lucas Boucher is the son of Melissa and Bill Boucher of Winslow. He is a three-sport athlete who was the captain of the baseball team and also played soccer and basketball. He received the KVAC All-Academic All-Sports Award and the Regional All-Star Soccer Award. Additionally, he was a three-year member of the math team.

Boucher plans to attend the University of Maine in the fall, majoring in law and economics.

Tyler Dow is the son of Mandy and Cory Dow of China. During his time at WHS, he played varsity lacrosse and varsity hockey. He earned the Northern Maine Ice Hockey All-Academic All-Star Award, and he was a two-year member of the math team.

He is also a member of the National Honor Society, and he earned the Xerox Award for Innovation and Information Technology.

Dow plans to attend the Rochester Institute of Technology in the fall, majoring in computer science.

Dayton Dutil is the son of Crystal and Robby Dutil of Winslow. He played soccer during his freshman year and later attended Mid-Maine Technical Center, where he took part in the Outdoor Leadership program and competed in the SkillsUSA Maine competition. He was named student of the month while at MMTC.

Dutil plans to attend Husson University in the fall, majoring in physical therapy.

Morgan Fortin is the daughter of Jennifer and Bernard Fortin of Vassalboro. She was an avid member of concert band, pep band, modern band, and jazz band throughout her time at Winslow High School.

She was also selected as student of the month at the Mid-Maine Technical Center.

Fortin plans to attend the University of Maine at Augusta, where she will focus on the Contemporary and Popular Music program while working toward a degree in music.

Hunter Lee is the daughter of Hilary and Jamie Lee of Winslow. As one of the historians for the class of 2023, she received the University of Maine Top Scholar Award and is a member of the National Honor Society.

In addition, she played field hockey and tennis during her time at WHS.

Lee plans to attend the University of Maine this fall, majoring in biochemistry.

Haley Martin is the daughter of Gayle and Colby Martin of China. She was the class vice president during her freshman year and a member of the drama program, jazz band, pep band and the guitar club.

She is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Thespian’s Society, and was chosen as student of the month.

Martin plans to attend the University of Maine at Farmington in the fall, majoring in elementary education.

Emma Michaud is the daughter of Kerri Deschaine of Winslow and Rick Michaud of Waterville. As a member of the National Honor Society, she played several sports in high school, including soccer, ice hockey and softball.

She received the Russell Sage Scholar Award and the Steven V. Belanger Memorial Award.

Michaud plans to attend the University of New England in the fall, majoring in dental hygiene.

Noella Pepin is the daughter of Laura Pepin of Winslow and Gregory King of Madison. As class treasurer, she also a member of the National Honor Society. In addition, she participated in several sports, including varsity field hockey, varsity basketball, and varsity track and field.

Earlier this year she received the Maine Principal’s Award for outstanding academic excellence and school citizenship.

Pepin plans to attend Colby College this fall, majoring in psychology.

Lukas Stabins is the son of Amy and Henning Stabins of Winslow. He is vice president of the class of 2023, a member of the student senate, and a member of the National Honor Society. In addition, he participated in soccer, unified basketball and cross country, and he was also a member of the math team.

He received the Daughters of the American Revolution Excellence in History Award, the Susan B. Anthony Award, and the Frederick Douglas Award.

In the fall, Stabins plans to attend Rutgers University, where he will major in urban planning and design.

Kiera Veilleux is the daughter of Erica Stetson of Winslow and Damian Veilleux of Cannan. She has earned high honors throughout her time at Winslow High School.

Veilleux plans to attend Kennebec Valley Community College, where she will major in nursing.
