There will be some clouds rolling through, but temperatures should make it back to near 30° as winds gradually shift to be out of the southwest.

This will be a bit of a transition day for our pattern, which will favor some warmer temps for the middle of the week.

Wednesday looks a little bit milder than the beginning of the week, and could end up as the first above average day in quite some time.

High temperatures will approach 40° in the afternoon.

There could be a few sprinkles, but the day still looks mostly quiet.

NEWS CENTER Maine

A battle between Arctic air and mild air will be ongoing with Maine in the crosshairs.

This type of set up usually favors mixed precip, sometimes ice, or maybe even some snow.

It’s worth watching, but Thursday into Friday could be another active winter weather period here.

I can say, though, it will not be a blizzard.
