AUGUSTA — The top-seeded Greenville boys basketball had little trouble dispatching No. 9 Pine Tree Academy of Freeport on Saturday, starting out strong and rolling to a 63-37 victory in a Class D South quarterfinal Monday morning at the Civic Center.

Devin Boone scored 31 points and Nick Foley added 25 for the Lakers.

Greenville (18-1) will play No. 5 Seacoast Christian in a regional semifinal at 11 a.m. Wednesday.

Najee Jean-Louis scored a team-high 11 for Pine Tree, which finished 8-12.
