A 63-year-old man was killed Saturday in a tree-cutting accident in Peru, the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office said.

Stephen Fuller of Greenwoods Road in Peru was cutting down a tree on his property when the tree fell on him about 8:37 a.m., killing him, according to the sheriff’s office.

Fuller was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other injuries.

The death was not suspicious, the sheriff’s office said.
