The Sappi Fine Paper mill in Skowhegan has 170 salaried employees. An employment figure reported in a story on page A1 of Friday's paper was incorrect. It was a reporter's error.

A spaghetti dinner is planned for 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the Manchester Lions Club to benefit two families that were burned out of their apartments in a fire at 55 Sewall St. in Augusta. The date was incorrect in a story Wednesday on page A1. It was an editing error.

CORRECTION
In publishing a photo of a robbery suspect in a Newport drugstore and a photo of a Jeep being removed from Bond Brook in Augusta, both on page B2 of Saturday's edition, the newspaper coupled each photo with the story about the other's subject matter. It was an editing error.
