Waterville man accused in Colby College gunfire had feuded previously with assailant, police affidavit says
Officials say Andrew Gifford, 24, fired a 9 mm handgun three times in a crowded hallway during a party at the Waterville college after he had been hit in the head with a bottle by a man with whom Gifford had fought years earlier.
