Hart to Hart Farm and Education Center hosted an animal baby shower and pajama party. The event also had simulated cow milking, fetching eggs in the coop, spinning lamb’s wood, and cuddling newborn babies. Admission was free with a food or pet item “baby shower gift” to be shared with the Humane Society Waterville Area in memory of Cassidy Jean Charette, a 17-year-old Messalonskee High School student, who died during a hayride accident in 2014. Falling tree in China clips utility poles and knocks out power to more than 1,200 customers
The tree fell Wednesday on Lakeview Drive in China and resulted in the loss of power to around 1,250 Central Maine Power customers in China and about a dozen in Albion.
