MAESTRO DEBUT: St. John’s Regional Catholic School kindergarten student Camden Cotnoir was selected to be guest conductor of the University of Maine in Orono Symphonic Band that performed to students and parents at Sacred Heart Church in Waterville on Monday. Cotnoir’s brief performnce drew a standing ovation and conductor Chris White gave her the baton she used. A smiling Cotnoir said she was nervous and added,” I’ve never done this before.”

STILL LIFE: The Dark Side in broad daylight

Landry showed up in costume to buy the new Xbox 360 Star Wars special edition that was released nationally on Tuesday. āIām a big fan of Star Wars,ā the 42-year-old Landry said. The new game costs $400 and he said the costume he wears on Halloween and area events cost him $1,000.
