Aryan Rai is a reporter covering Hallowell, Winthrop, and other beats in central Maine for the Kennebec Journal. He graduated from Boston University in 2023 where he completed his master's degree in journalism, served as an editor for the Boston University News Service, interned as a statehouse correspondent for the Daily Hampshire Gazette and worked general assignments for the Boston Guardian. A native of India, Aryan now lives in Augusta.
