Andy started his photojournalism career with the Kennebec Journal in 1995. Over the years, he has won numerous Maine Press Association awards for his images of Maine people, places and events and contributed to CentralMaine.com’s 2017-18 General Excellence Digital honor.

SNAPSHOT: Snow mountain

Workers were collecting snow from city schools and relocating it to the hill that rises to a height just below the catwalk underneath Memorial Bridge. The hill isn’t as high as it has been in past winters, workers said, and usually melts by the end of spring.
