I’m voting for Chloe Maxmin in the June 12 Democratic primary to represent House District 88 because she embodies the very best Maine has to offer. She is local and familiar, highly educated, ambitious, and prepared to roll up her sleeves and work.

What strikes me most about Chloe’s candidacy for state representative are the qualities she brings to the table: productive ideas, positive energy, genuine passion, and a lifelong commitment to the state of Maine. She is part of a new wave of smart, young women who have returned home to lead their communities on a path for the greater good. She supports Medicaid expansion and affordable health care, clean energy, the improvement of Maine’s public schools, and greater local business opportunities. She also brings something special with her message: respect for the state’s history and its unique and beautiful environment.

I am voting for Chloe Maxmin because she believes in providing opportunities for everyone in Maine, something that seems out of reach today for so many in our community — young and old.
