SOUTH CHINA — Erskine Academy scored seven times in the second inning and cruised to a 9-2 win over Morse in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B baseball on Wednesday.

Andrew Browne had three hits, including a double, for Erskine (13-3) in its regular season finale.

Morse dropped to 12-4.

NYA 3, RICHMOND 0: The Panthers made the most of their five hits, rapping out three doubles to take the win in Richmond.

Dana Nichols pitched a complete-game shutout for NYA (7-7), scattering four hits.

Brendan Emmons had a double and a single for Richmond (14-2).

MOUNT VIEW 5, MCI 4: Riley Boulay singled home the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to lift the Roadrunners to the KVAC B win in Thorndike.

Joey Danna had three hits for Mount View (5-11).

MCI, which scored all of its runs in the fourth inning, fell to 2-14.

SOFTBALL

TEMPLE 12, VALLEY 9: Daphne Labbe homered in a three-hit effort and the Bereans won the East/West Conference game at Thomas College in Waterville.

Deleyni Carr struck out seven to earn the win for Temple (6-8), and Faith Rossignol and Olivia Baker each had two hits.

Valley fell to 3-11.

GIRLS LACROSSE

MESSALONSKEE 20, GARDINER 4: Ally Turner scored nine goals and assisted on two others as the Eagles rolled to the KVAC win in Oakland.

Lauren Pickett added two goals and three assists for Messalonskee (11-1), and Katie Seekins scored twice, too, in the win.

Lauren Chadwick scored twice for Gardiner (4-8). Julia Hinkley made 12 saves.

CONY 15, OXFORD HILLS 11: Faith Leathers-Pouliot had four goals and Sarah Caron and Sydney Avery each added hat tricks in the Rams’ KVAC win in Augusta.

Senior defender Julia Sternad scored her first career goal for Cony (6-5), and Lauren Coniff also added a pair of scores.

Caroline Burns and Hannah Hartnett each scored two goal for Oxford Hills (0-11).

ERSKINE 9, CAMDEN HILLS 8: Hannah Burns scored three goals to lead the Eagles to a KVAC B win over the Windjammers in South China.

Hayley Hinds scored two goals for Erskine (5-7), while Katelyn Hustus, Audrey Jordan, Olivia Kunesh and Bella Johnson each added goals for the Eagles.

Hazel Delehy and Sarah Contento each had two goals for Camden Hills (2-10).

BOYS LACROSSE

ERSKINE 6, CAMDEN HILLS 5: Caleb Tyler scored twice as the Eagles won the KVAC B regular season finale in Camden.

Hunter Rushing, Ethan Furlong, Grayson Petty and Chance Reed all scored in the win for Erskine (8-4).

Bryce Tyler and Thomas Greibel were among the five different goal scorers for Camden Hills (9-3).
