SALEM TOWNSHIP — Mt. Abram High School has announced its top academic seniors for the class of 2016, listed alphabetically.

Bailey Serene Beers, daughter of James and Nicole Beers, of Eustis, plans to attend Eastern Maine Technical College, where she will study building construction.

Jerusha-Marie L. Caldwell, daughter of Jodie Caldwell, of Stratton, and Lee Ross, of Kingfield, plans to attend the University of Maine at Fort Kent to major in mental health counseling.

Bailey Elizabeth DeBiase, daughter of John and Andrea DeBiase, of Carrabassett Valley, plans to attend Wheaton College, where she plans to major in psychology/art therapy.

Mario D. Gerardi, son of Bobbi Peck and James Dillan, of Lexington Township, plans to attend Vassar College in New York to major in mathematics.

Brook Lynn James, daughter of Tara Bernaiche, of Madrid Township, and John James, of Lewiston, plans to attend the University of Maine at Farmington, where she plans to major in psychology.

Makayla Lynn Martin, daughter of Tim and Amy Martin, of Strong, plans to attend the University of Maine at Farmington to major in special education services.

Riley Adelmo McLaughlin, son of Tom and Andrea McLaughlin, of Strong, plans to attend Boston University, to major in computer science.

Eliza Mary Saraswati Sitz, daughter of Steve Sitz, of Kingfield, plans to attend the University of Maine at Orono to major in international affairs.

Sarah Elizabeth Stanley, daughter of Dean and Annette Stanley, of Strong, plans to attend the University of Maine at Farmington, to major in biology.

Courtland David Talmage, son of David and Julie Talmage, of Kingfield, plans to attend Bowdoin College to major in computer science.

Mallory Lauren Toothaker, daughter of David Toothaker, of Kingfield, plans to attend the University of Southern Maine to major in either psychology or communications.
