WINTHROP — Ryan Sinclair tripled and drove in three runs to help the Hall-Dale baseball team rally from a 5-3 deficit to grab a 6-5 victory in a Mountain Valley Conference game Tuesday afternoon.

Sinclair, who pitched the final three innings in relief of Quinn Stebbins, had three hits for the Bulldogs (4-1).

Stebbins finished with two singles, two RBIs and two runs scored. Tyler Nadeau also had a pair of singles.

Antonio Meucci went 2 for 2 with an RBI for the Ramblers (1-3).

SOFTBALL

OAK HILL 23, ST. DOMINIC 0, 5 innings: Jamie Prue went 3 for 5 with two triples and six RBIs and Brooke Surette homered to lead the Raiders to the MVC victory in Wales.

Abby Nadeau went 2 for 5 with a double, triple and two RBIs for Oak Hill (4-1) as well.

St. Dominic dropped to 2-3.

ERSKINE 5, MARANACOOK 2: Taylor McLaggan had two hits and MacKenzie Gayer doubled to lead the Eagles to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B victory in Readfield.

Kayla Hodgkins pitched the complete game, allowing eight hits, to earn the victory for Erskine (3-2).

Lindsy Hilton had three hits to lead the Black Bears (1-5).

OCEANSIDE 7, GARDINER 3: Brianna Dugan had three hits, including a home run, in the Mariners’ KVAC B win over the Tigers in Gardiner.

Kalyn Grover added two singles and a double for Oceanside (5-0) while Casey Pine chipped in with a single and a homer.

Bri Brochu led Gardiner (1-4) with two singles and two doubles.

BOYS LACROSSE

CONY 11, MT. ARARAT 6: Bret Sproul had four goals and four assists to lead the Rams to the KVAC win in Augusta.

Dale Lapierre and Chad Bickford each had three goals for Cony (4-0). Cam Gallant made 15 saves for the win.

Elliot Pressman scored three goals for the Eagles (1-3).

LEWISTON 12, GARDINER 5: Jaden Wilson and Alex Rivet each notched a hat trick to lead Lewiston past Gardiner in Lewiston.

Brandon Croteau added two goals for the Blue Devils (3-1). Michael Poirier tallied three goals for the Tigers (2-4) while Tanner Hebert and Tristan Hebert each added a goal and an assist.

MT. BLUE 7, ERSKINE 6: Reed Wells scored three goals and Liam Welch added two goals and an assist to lead the Cougars in Farmington.

Joe Bowering also had two goals for Mt. Blue (2-2). Josh Reed scored four goals to pace Erskine (0-5). Jake Peavey had 17 saves for the Eagles while Alex Gilbert had 13 for Mt. Blue.

GIRLS LACROSSE

MESSALONSKEE 14, OXFORD HILLS 3: Ally Turner picked up four goals and assisted on four others as Messalonskee defeated Oxford Hills in a KVAC lacrosse game at Thomas College.

Lydia Dexter chipped in with three goals and two assists for the Eagles (3-0) while India Languet added two goals and two assists. Sydni Collier and Cassidy McNaughton made two saves apiece in goal.

CONY 6, BRUNSWICK 4: Lizzy Dennison made 11 saves as the Rams held on for the KVAC win in Brunswick.

Annie Brannigan had three goals and an assist to pace the Cony (2-1) offense. Amelia Hawley and Sarah Ferdinand each had a goal and an assist for Brunswick (0-3).
