AUGUSTA — Volunteers are sought for the Alzheimer’s Association’s new Capitol Region Social Engagement Committee. Committee volunteers will plan and present one to two social events monthly for eligible persons diagnosed with dementia and their care partners.

A Social Engagement Information session is set for 6-7 p.m. Thursday, April 28, at Lithgow Public Library’s program room at the Ballard Center, 6 East Chestnut St.
