GARDINER — Winter Street Baptist Church, 32 Winter St., will show the movie “God’s Not Dead” at 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28.

The film is about an atheist philosophy professor played by Kevin Sorbo who insists his student declares that God is dead. A student is challenged to defend his faith and prove to the class that God’s not dead, according to a news release from the church. Against all odds the student stands up for his faith and takes on the challenge.
