Ryan Leibold scored the tying and go-ahead goals in the third period as the Reading Royals rallied for a 5-3 win over the Maine Mariners in an ECHL game Saturday night at Reading, Pennsylvania.
Christian Sarlo netted a pair of second-period goals as the Mainers grabbed a 3-2 lead. Maine’s Sebastian Vidmar tied the game early in the second period.
Leibold made it 3-3 at 7:06 of the third, then got the winner on a power play at 11:39. Shane Sellar added his second goal of the game, into an empty net, with 40 seconds remaining.
