WATERVILLE — Alivia St. Peter had two doubles and four RBIs to lead Cony past Waterville 26-5 in softball action Thursday.
Hannah Kidd added four singles and three RBIs for the Rams (4-10) while Suri Ramkissoon added two doubles.
Madison Wilson had three singles for Waterville (0-14).
MONMOUTH 9, DIRIGO 2: Shanna Parsons struck out eight batters and scattered for hits in the circle while recording two hits of her own in the Mustangs’ win in Monmouth.
Brooklyn Federico paced the Mustangs (14-1) with three hits. Monmouth scored two runs each in the first and second before adding a five-run frame in the fourth.
Lana Waite allowed nine hits in six innings for Dirigo (6-7), which scored both of its runs in the top of the third.
MAINE CENTRAL INSTITUTE 9, MOUNT VIEW 7: Kassie Snowman tossed an unusual no-hitter with nine strikeouts, six walks and four hit batters as the Huskies took down the Mustangs in Thorndike.
Skyla Dean and Hannah Robinson both went 3 for 4 for MCI (10-5) with the former smacking three RBIs. The Huskies have now won eight of their past 10 games after a 2-3 start.
Mount View fell to 3-12 with the loss.
BASEBALL
CONY 3, WATERVILLE 0: The Rams stretched their winning streak to nine games as they shut out the Purple Panthers in Waterville.
Kam Douin pitched a gem for Cony (13-1), striking out 10, walking three and allowing just two hits in 6 2/3 innings. Davis Kibler had a hit and two RBIs for the Rams in the win.
Ben Foster struck out eight batters in five innings of work for Waterville (8-6).
