WINSLOW — The Winslow boys basketball team outscored Mount View 57-45 in the second half and overtime Saturday to earn an 82-79 win in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B game.
Jason Reynolds had 36 points, 19 rebounds and five assists to pace Winslow (15-1), while Andrew Poulin added 30 points. Braden Rodrigue chipped in seven points and four rebounds.
Noah Hurd also scored 30 points for Mount View (8-8), while Wyatt Evensen added 29.
CARRABEC 48, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 36: Luke Carey scored 18 points for the Cobras in their road win in Rumford.
Joel Gehrke added 11 points for Carrabec (10-7), and Kolby Carpenter had nine points.
Jake New led Mountain Valley (9-8) with 12 points, highlighted by three 3-pointers, while Zach New finished with seven.
MT. ABRAM 87, VALLEY 28: The Roadrunners’ victory featured five players who reached double-digit scoring in Strong.
Payton Mitchell led Mt. Abram (13-3) with 22 points. Cam Grey and Tucker Plouffe scored 15 and 13 points, respectively. Logan Dube, who nailed down four 3-pointers, and Kaden Pillsbury each scored 12 points. Mt. Abram hit a total of 12 pointers for the night.
Valley’s (10-6) Levi Short and Harry Lewis scored 12 and 10 points respectively.
GIRLS BASKETBALL
CARRABEC 45, DIRIGO 38: Lindsay Hamilton scored 21 points as the Cobras claimed their third straight win by topping the Cougars in Dixfield.
Molly Hay added 16 points for Carrabec, which improved to 9-7.
Grace Robbins scored 14 points for Dirigo (5-12), and Jace Brophy added 12.
RICHMOND 60, ST. DOMINIC ACADEMY 16: The Bobcats breezed past the Saints in Richmond to claim their fourth consecutive victory.
Kara Briand scored a game-high 15 points for Richmond (13-3) in the win. The Bobcats also got 12 points each from Breonna Dufresne and Lila Viselli.
Charli Apodaca and Avery Gravel each scored six points for St. Dom’s (2-14).
