WAYNE — A silent auction to benefit Wayne Community Church will take place through July 9.

The auction features more than 180 items, including a Boston Red Sox package, a week at a three-bedroom condominium in Kissimmee, Fla., a weekend in New York City, trips to theater productions and restaurants throughout the state, hotel visits, artwork, boat trips, children’s amusement parks, kitchen items, home decorations, jewelry, cooking lessons and more.

Bids may be placed at the church, 22 Old Winthrop Road, during the following times: 3-7 p.m. today; 1-7 p.m. Wednesday; 3-7 p.m. Thursday; 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday; and from 9 a.m. until closing at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

The closing festivities, set for Saturday, will feature a pulled pork barbecue and desserts from 5 to 7 p.m. and host Craig Miller from WGMW News 13.

Proceeds benefit the church and its community activities.
