I’m amazed how many people have been told that the 12 days of Christmas are the 12 days before Christmas.
The 12 days of Christmas start on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, and end on the Epiphany, Jan. 6. (Just ask Alexa, Siri or Google). Commercialism has people so exhausted that they’re tossing out their tree on the second day of Christmas.
We’ve always celebrated the 12 days with treats and small, inexpensive gifts. It’s a great way to enjoy the Christmas season without all the noise and rushing around.
Bonus: Everything is less expensive after the first day of Christmas.
