The Manchester Lions Club recently hosted the 2021-22 Manchester Spirit of America Foundation Awards event.
The club received the ongoing project award for its many drive-through suppers, and its support of many veteran, community, and senior needs through fundraising and volunteering, according to a news release from Diana Worthing of Manchester.
Margaret Harrington received the SOA award for her volunteering at the Manchester Community Church. She involves herself in many aspects of the workings of the church and is a go-to person whenever the need arises.
Lion Dave Weeks also receive the SOA award for his work on many projects at the Lions Club and his readiness to help at the Wayside Chapel.
