Denny Breau and friends will perform a Music for Mavis Tuesdays at the Gazebo concert at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, in Turner Center.
There will be a host of talent joining Breau including, but not exclusively,Deb Morrin, Malinda Liberty, Paul Mellyn, and Ted Hammilton.
Breau mixes genres with ease: Folk, Delta blues, country and jazz. He brings warmth and a down home friendliness, creating family as he sings.
The concert will be held either outside in the Gazebo, which is currently hosting a tent, or downstairs under the library in the large community room.
The gazebo is located at 98 Mathews Way, off Route 117, in Turner Center. We pass the hat to pay the musicians. Suggested donation $10. For more information, call (207) 754-0954.
