WALES – Drew Stratton caught an 83-yard touchdown pass with 5 minutes, 49 seconds left in the fourth quarter to help the Winthrop High School football team upend Oak Hill 27-24 in a key Western C Campbell Conference game Saturday afternoon.
Stratton caught three passes for 131 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
“This is just a big win for us,” Stratton said. “We needed this.”
Zach Glazier rushed for a team-high 107 yards and Dan Moody added 97 yards on the ground for the Ramblers (3-3).
Cody DePuy rushed for a game-high 192 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries to lead Oak Hill (3-3), which trailed 20-6 in the first half before rallying to take a 24-20 lead early in the fourth quarter.
