I’m supporting Marci Alexander for mayor in Augusta. I’ve known her for 25 years in a professional capacity. When she represented me as an assistant attorney general, I found her responsive, smart and inquisitive about the nature of my legal issues and the bigger picture that made my decisions sound and responsible. I watched her progress from a young, determined attorney to representing her local hospital as its counsel and her community on the City Council.

Now I own Western View Golf, the only golf course in Augusta. Who would have thought that my retirement would involve taking on a whole new small business venture in the great city of Augusta. When I found out Marci was running for mayor, I felt confident that as a new business owner I could depend on those same problem-solving skills that I had seen in action many years ago to help local businesses. I knew she would have our backs.

She will make an excellent mayor and move our city forward toward a prosperous future for all its citizens.
