MADISON — Landyn Landry had an RBI single for the game’s only run as the Madison softball team edged Buckfield 1-0 on Wednesday.
Brooke McKenney earned the win, striking out 11. Abi Linkletter had a single and scored a run for Madison (9-1) while Lillian Levesque and McKenney had the other singles.
Cara Merrill had a double and a single for Buckfield (4-4) while Alyssa Litchfield added a single.

POLAND 13, OAK HILL 3: Atlantis Martin earned the win in the circle, striking out 12, to pace the Knights in Poland.
Freshman Khloe O’Leary had a double and two singles for Poland (5-2).
Mia Valliere tripled for Oak Hill (3-7) while Kelsey Young had two singles.

SKOWHEGAN 11, CONY 0: Jaycie Christopher had three doubles and two RBIs to lead the River Hawks to the Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class A victory in Skowhegan.
Sierra Carey also had three hits for Skowhegan, including a triple and a double.
Annabelle Morris also drove in a pair of runs.

WINSLOW 23, ERSKINE 16: Kaci Fortin had four hits, including a triple, to spark the Black Raiders to a KVAC victory in South China.
Karlie Ramsdell added three hits for Winslow, while Emma Michaud (two doubles), Leah Knight and Jenna Libby had two each.
Hailey Acedo had three hits for Erskine, while Mackenzie Toner (two doubles), Chiara Mahoney (double), MacKenzie Kutniewski (double), Hannah Huff (double) and Madison Lully (double, triple) all had two hits.

VALLEY 18, GREENVILLE 1, 6 innings: Emily Collins had three hits, including a home run, to lead the Cavaliers to a win over the Lakers in Greenville.
Brielle Hill had four hits, including a triple, for Valley (9-0), while Logan McDonald and Jada Ward each had three hits for the Cavaliers. McDonald added a double.

LEWISTON 8, GARDINER 0: Charlotte Cloutier hit a home run in the fifth inning to help the Blue Devils down the Tigers at Lewiston.
Cloutier had two hits in the game, as did Abby Chartier, while Gemma Landry and Morgan Brown both had three. Chartier and Landry both hit doubles. Izzy Cormier pitched seven shutout innings, scattering seven hits.
Taylor Takatsu had a pair of hits for Gardiner, and Brookelynn Gero and Lainey Cooley split time pitching.

LEWISTON 10, GARDINER 0: The Blue Devils (8-3) won their eighth consecutive game, shutting out the Tigers (4-6) in six innings in Lewiston.
Andon Cox and Nate Lyons had two hits and drove in two runs apiece for Lewiston, while Keegan McLaughlin scored three runs. Connor Wolverton also had two hits. Cooper St. Hilaire tripled and earned the win by pitching the final four innings.
Andrew Kelley and Chadwick Wyatt had Gardiner’s two hits.

OXFORD HILLS 6, MESSALONSKEE 0: Wyatt Knightly struck out 10 and scattered five hits in a complete-game shutout. He also had three hits and three RBIs as the Vikings’ (9-1) rolled in South Paris.
Hunter Tardiff also had three hits, including a double, for Oxford Hills, while Ethan Cutler (triple), Andrew Merrill and Matt Doucette each had two.
Andrew Mayo hit a double for Messalonskee.

WINSLOW 9, ERSKINE 8: Reid Gagnon and John Day each had three hits to lead the Black Raiders to the KVAC victory in South China.
Nate Newgard, Tyler Brockway and Brandon Mason had two hits apiece, with Mason adding a double.
Grady Hotham had two hits including a double for the Eagles, while Liam Perfetto also doubled and Harry Rabideau had three hits.

MT. ABRAM 10, CARRABEC 0, 5 INN.: Hunter Warren and Ben Debiase combined for a no-hitter as the Roadrunners earned the MVC victory.
Warren struck out seven in three innings and Debiase fanned four across the final two frames. Warren also had three hits at the plate, including a triple, while Wyatt Siemenski had two hits and Debiase hit a double.
Luke Carey pitched all four innings for Carrabec.

OCEANSIDE 7, MOUNT VIEW 0: Austin Chilles threw a five-hit shutout, striking out seven and walking a pair as the Mariners (5-7) blanked the Mustangs (5-6) at Thorndike.
Nathan Coombs had three hits, including a double and triple, driving in three runs.
Finnegan Lynch and Alex Bartlett each added three hits, and Alec Sirois chipped in with two hits.

POLAND 2, OAK HILL 1: Dylan Sellinger broke a 1-1 tie with a fifth-inning home run as the Knights (6-6) won at Poland.
Sellinger had two of the four hits allowed by Oak Hill pitcher Kyle Delano. Hunter Gibson pitched a complete game for Poland, scattering six hits and striking out seven.
Gavin Rawstron had two hits for the Raiders (6-2), including a double.

CAMDEN HILLS 9, CONY 8:Â Anya Babb-Brott and Caroline Contento each scored three goals to lead the Windjammers in Augusta.
Grace Cody, Isabella Ward and Anna Griebel also scored for Camden Hills (4-1), while Maddie Boetsch stopped seven shots.
Sierra Clark scored led Cony (5-3) with three goals while Raegan Bechard, Maci Freeman, Emma Doiron, Andrea Richardson and Kiara Henry also scored. Madi Chavarie made four saves.
