HINCKLEY — The Good Will-Hinckley forest trails and pond provide homes for many birds. More than 140 species have been recorded on campus, including eagles, tree swallows, ducks, hummingbirds, seagulls and crows. Some migrating birds are arriving now.
By appointment, L.C. Bates Museum visitors can check out a family bird observation backpack to use along the trails. The packs include binoculars, a field guide, recorded bird sounds and activities for children.
