Ready for some magic? The featured artist for the month of March in the Auburn Gritty’s Art and Ale window is local artist and illustrator Angie Lafrance. Her newest collection, “Illusionarium,” features both digital and traditional paintings inspired by magic, mysticism, and curiosity of the early twentieth century.
Lafrance is the founder of Ramble Row, her art and handmade business. She is also co-organizer of the Moonlight Market, Art and Brew at CBU, and member of the Art Walk LA Committee. Her portfolio includes both personal and commercial work and her isolation illustration series was featured twice by BBC World News. She works in several mediums including digital, oil, acrylic, gouache and watercolor while specializing in the whimsical, vintage and surreal.
