Recently Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-California, announced that there will be an “independent” investigation of the disturbances that took place in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6. Given the fact that she is the woman who made a public spectacle of herself last year when she ripped up her copy of the State of the Union speech of the president of the United States while he was giving the address, I’m sure you will understand if I take her promise of an “independent” investigation with more than a few grains of salt.

Personally I’m still waiting for an investigation — any investigation — of the numerous riots that took place around the country last summer under the sponsorship of Antifa and BLM, in which millions of dollars were lost, many businesses destroyed, and property damage was in the hundreds of millions of dollars. Seattle, Washington, and Portland, Oregon, were the favored sites, and I have seen numerous articles stating that even now they are not safe sites.

You’ll notice that I said that I’m waiting for an investigation, but I’m not holding my breath.
