SOUTH CHINA — After Maranacook tied the game in the top of the seventh inning, the Erskine softball team scored a run in the bottom half to earn a 5-4 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win.
Summer Hotham and Chiara Mahoney each doubled for Erskine (6-3). Kayla Hodgkins earned the win for the Eagles.
Amanda Goucher doubled for Maranacook (5-2).

WINTHROP 16, MT. ABRAM 0: Hanna Caprara drove in four runs and Maddie Perkins knocked in three as Winthrop dispatched Mt. Abram  in five innings in Mountain Valley Conference softball.
Caprara had a team-high three hits, including a triple. Perkins had a double and a single, and Lydia Rice tripled and singled.
The Ramblers (3-2) finished with 16 hits and held the Roadrunners (1-6) to two.

MESSALONSKEE 12, HAMPDEN 3:Â The Eagles jumped out to a 6-0 lead after one inning and never looked back in an A North win in Oakland.
Kristen Dube had a home run and a double for Messalonskee (7-2) while Leah Smith and Brooke Martin each doubled.

LAWRENCE 6, WATERVILLE 3: Keagan Alley had two hits, including a double, to lead the Bulldogs to a KVAC win in Fairfield.
Megan Curtis had two hits for Lawrence (2-6), while Sarah Poli smacked a double. Paige Reynolds earned the win in the circle, striking out five batters.
Hannah LeClair and Kailene Isbell each had three hits for Waterville (1-7).
Hampden falls to 3-3.

OAK HILL 8, TELSTAR 3: Molly Flaherty had two singles and two RBIs to spark the Raiders to the MVC win in Wales.
Julia Noel added three singles for Oak Hill (6-0) while Mahala Smith and Abigail Nadeau each had two singles and an RBI.
Macie Hallett had two singles for Telstar (3-2).

HALL-DALE 15, DIRIGO 2: Isabella Marino hit a pair of two-run home runs to lead the Bulldogs to the MVC win in Dixfield.
Marino had three hits, while Grace Begin added two triples for Hall-Dale (5-1). Emma Soule had a double and a triple, and Iris Ireland had a pair of hits as well.
Sarah Benner struck out four for Hall-Dale.

MONMOUTH 10, CARRABEC 0: Jordan Gowell and Mariah Herr had two hits apiece to lead the Mustangs to the MVC win in Monmouth.
Taylor Truman added a double for Monmouth (5-1), while Herr got the win in the circle.
The Cobras fell to 1-5.

GARDINER 11, WINSLOW 1: Andrew Kelley pitched a complete game, striking out eight, to lead the Tigers to the B North win in Gardiner.
Michael Meehan had two singles and two RBIs for Gardiner (2-6) while Alex Grover, Darien Jamison and Kelley each added a single.
Cam Winslow doubled for the Black Raiders (2-4).

WATERVILLE 11, LAWRENCE 1, 5 innings: The Purple Panthers scored all 11 runs in the fourth inning to take the KVAC B win in Fairfield.
Kody Vallee doubled for Waterville (4-4), while David Barre earned the win.
Lawrence is now 5-3.

CONY 3, SKOWHEGAN 2, 11 innings: Eli Bezanson stole home with the winning run in the bottom of the 11th inning, lifting the Rams to the KVAC A win in Augusta.
Kyle Douin had a pair of hits for Cony (5-3), including a double. Ashton Cunningham and Mike Wozniak also contributed a pair of hits in the victory.
Skowhegan dropped to 3-5.

MONMOUTH 21, BOOTHBAY 6: Monmouth broke the game open with nine runs in the top of the fourth inning to take the MVC win in Boothbay.
Thomas Neal hit a pair of doubles for Monmouth (5-1). Hayden Fletcher, Cameron Armstrong and Trevor Flanagan also had multiple hit games for the Mustangs.
Hunter Crocker had two hits for Boothbay (2-6).

RICHMOND 30, VALLEY 1, 5 innings: The Bobcats scored 12 runs in the first inning to cruise to the East/West Conference win in Richmond.
Mitch Couturier hit three doubles for Richmond (3-2), while Andrew Vachon hit a double and a triple. Adam Beaulieu homered for the Bobcats, who had 30 hits.
Valley dropped to 0-4.

DIRIGO 5, HALL-DALE 4: Chandler Redmond hit a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Cougars to a walk-off win.
Redmond capped off a four-run seventh inning to charge all the way back as Curtis Errington, a pinch runner, scored the winning run.
Hall-Dale’s Alec Byron took the loss as the third of four pitchers on the night, while Sam Holmes earned Dirigo the win. Jacob Brown had two hits and Logan Dupont had a double for the Bulldogs (4-1).

MARANACOOK/WINTHROP 9, OCEANSIDE 8: Anna Drillen scored four goals to lead the Hawks to the Class C win in Rockland.
Anna Erbe added two goals for Maranacook/Winthrop (5-0) while Natalie Whitten, Lexi Delisle and Lilly Voye added one apiece. Samantha Cloutier made eight saves.
Jackie Gadgett led Oceanside (0-5) with three goals and Lydia Laslavic made 13 saves.

OXFORD HILLS 16, CONY 9: Kami Lambert had five goals and two assists but it was not enough for the Rams against the Class A Vikings in Augusta.
Sierra Clark, Faith Leathers-Pouliot, Cammie Osbourne and Abbie Doiron had a goal apiece for Cony (3-2). Sarah Cook-Wheeler made 17 saves.
Maggie Hartnett scored four goals for Oxford Hills (3-1) while Megan Letourneau, Jade Svedberg and Cecilia Dietrich had three apiece. Tiana James made 10 saves.
