BINGHAM — Hunter Cuddy homered and drove in six runs as part of a four-hit afternoon, leading Forest Hills to a doubleheader sweep of rival Valley in East/West Conference baseball Tuesday afternoon.
The Tigers (4-1) won the opener 10-3 behind Cuddy’s two-run homer and Brandon Gilboe’s three-hitter on the mound. David Lessard added a pair of hits and an RBI in the Game 1 victory.
Forest Hills took the second game by an 11-8 count, as Cuddy and Brian Snider each drove in a pair of runs in two-hit efforts at the plate. Jakob Rivas added two hits of his own.
For Valley (0-3), Trey Costello had two of the three hits for the Cavaliers in the opener, while Thanawit Korcharoenrat collected two singles in the nightcap.

MESSALONSKEE 6, BANGOR 4: The Eagles scored two runs in the seventh after the Rams tied the game with three in the sixth, setting themselves up for the KVAC A win in Bangor on Monday.
Andrew Mayo had the go-ahead single and also got the win on the mound. Ben Hellen and Jake Perry had two hits apiece for Messalonskee (4-3), and Carter Lambert had a double.
Noah Missbrenner had two hits for the Rams (2-6).

LEAVITT 13, WATERVILLE 12: An 11-run fifth-inning turned a wild game upside down, leading the Hornets to the KVAC win in a contest featuring a total of 39 hits in Waterville on Monday.
Austin Taylor, Darin Hewitt and Oren Shaw each had a pair of doubles in the win for Leavitt (2-4).
David Barre had a double and a triple for Waterville (3-4), which pounded out 20 hits in the loss.

VALLEY 21, FOREST HILLS 3, 5 innings: Kendra Sweet smacked a two-run home run to lead the Cavaliers to a victory over the Tigers in Bingham.
Brielle Hill had three hits for Valley (2-0), while Logan McDonald had two hits, including a double.
Alex Lessard had a single and double for Forest Hills (0-4).

MESSALONSKEE 4, BANGOR 2: Taylor Baker drove in Brooke Martin with a double in the seventh inning, breaking a 2-2 tie and lifting the Eagles to the KVAC A win in Bangor on Monday.
Danielle Hall and Martin had two hits apiece, and Ava Ardito and Martin also had doubles. Hall struck out 10 for Messalonskee (6-2).
Rae Barron had two hits for Bangor (4-5).

LAWRENCE 20, MCI/NOKOMIS 13: Nora Buck, Lexi Lewis and Savannah Weston each scored four goals to lead the Bulldogs to a win in Fairfield on Monday.
Elsie Suttie scored two goals, while Emily Hersey and Harley Hamlin each added goals for Lawrence (1-3).
Meagan Whitten scored nine goals for MCI/Nokomis (0-7).
