WATERVILLE — The 11th annual Battle of the Badges basketball game between the Waterville Fire Department and the Waterville Police Department will begin at 7 p.m.Thursday, April 25, at Temple Academy, 60 West River Road. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Sponsors include the South End Neighborhood Association, Eric’s Restaurant, Cappza’s Pizza, and Scotty’s Pizza & Variety.

All proceeds will benefit the South End Teen Center, a satellite center of the Waterville Area Boys and Girls Club and a program of the Kennebec Valley Community Action Program. There will be half-time entertainment and the Teen Center members will be making baked goods to sell at the event.

Tickets cost $5 and are free for children younger than 10.
