Three people were arrested on drug-related charges Friday after police from multiple agencies conducted search warrants at a home on Martin Stream Road in Fairfield, as well as a vehicle on Norridgewock Road in that town and a vehicle on County Road in Waterville.
Fairfield police served the search warrants simultaneously at the three sites with help from Maine State Police, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and Waterville and Oakland police departments, according to Office Casey Dugas, public information officer for the Fairfield Police Department.
After the searches, Darrin Greenlaw, 52, of Fairfield, was summoned and charged with Class C possession of cocaine and then released, Dugas said Saturday in a statement. Shawn Dallas, 31, of Auburn, was arrested and charged with operating after suspension and violating conditions of release, both Class E crimes, and unlawful trafficking in marijuana, Class D. He was taken to Somerset County Jail in East Madison where he was being held on $500 bail.
Julio McNeill, 27, of Portland, was arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking in fentanyl, Class A; unlawful possession of cocaine, Class D; and unlawful possession of methylmethcathinone, Class D. He was taken to Somerset County Jail and was being held on $50,000 bail, according to Dugas.
Contacted Saturday afternoon, a spokesman at the jail said McNeill and Dallas were still at the facility.
All three are scheduled to be arraigned at 1 p.m. Oct. 11 in Skowhegan District Court.
Dugas said Fairfield police Detective Shanna Blodgett obtained the search warrant which was the result of an extensive investigation. That investigation is ongoing and additional charges are possible, according to Dugas.
