WINTHROP — New York City’s Royal Family Productions plans to present “UPTA CAMP” at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at the Winthrop Performing Arts Center, 211 Rambler Road.

The theater company is known for its innovative productions and development of new original work.

Following the sold-out success of the “COVID SUX” trilogy in Lewiston, Chris Henry, Mark Falconer and Danny Gay have written a new parody musical about the summer camp season in Maine featuring parodies of hit Broadway songs from shows like “Hamilton,” “My Fair Lady,” “Come From Away,” “Cabaret” and “Annie.”

This show, directed by Chris Henry with Mark Falconer and Danny Gay, features choreography by Emily Anne Davis. The Maine production team includes Ann Fairchild, Ricky Lambert, and Danny Gay.

Tickets cost $25 for general admission (preferred seating and VIP tickets available), and $5 for students.
