LUTZ, Fla. – Helen Wacome McCullough, who went to Heaven on July 8, 2023.
She was born to Ervin and Prudence Wacome Oct. 21, 1933, in Madison. Graduated from Madison High School in 1952. Trusted the Lord as her Saviour July 1, 1952 while attending a conference in Pugwash Junction, Gospel Hall, Nova Scotia.
She worked in the banking field in Madison and Torrington, Conn. She married James McCullough on Nov. 19, 1955. She had two sons, Alan and Glen McCullough.
Helen is survived by grandchildren, Ashley (Justin) McCullough Corkins, Eric and James McCullough; great-grandchildren Mackenzie Corkins, Jackson McCullough; and sister, Doris Wacome of Odessa, Fla.
She was predeceased by parents; husband; and sons; as well as siblings Ervin and Rita Wacome.
Helen retired and moved to Tampa, Fla. in 1996. She attended Augusta and Madison, Maine Gospel Halls, Torrington Gospel Hall, Prospect Bible Chapel Hartford, Conn., Holiday Gospel Assembly and Central Bible Chapel, Tampa, FIa., and Central Bible Chapel, Tampa, FIa.
Funeral services will be at Smart and Edwards Funeral Home, Skowhegan, July 17, viewing at 11 a.m., service at 12 p.m. and burial at Sunset View, in Norridgewock.
