Are we really to believe that in these un-united states that everyone regardless of race, religion, gender, disability, age or socioeconomic status has equal opportunity in admission to all schools, all places of employment, housing in all neighborhoods, all social, economic and political positions of status? (“A sharply divided Supreme Court rejects Biden’s plan to wipe away $400 billion in student loans,” June 30.)

Am I to believe that simply saying this is so makes it so, despite more that 300 years of history that demonstrates otherwise?
