I listen to the talking heads worrying about Trump being indicted in a campaign year. They worry that Democrats will be accused of creating of a political stunt.

From another point of view, if we were worrying about a pro baseball player who could lose a few weeks of competition, would we think he shouldn’t be prosecuted?

Bring it closer to home. If it were a plumber who would lose a few weeks of wages, would we think he or she shouldn’t be prosecuted? It wouldn’t be a question.

Worrying about the elite who have tremendous resources to defend themselves makes no sense, especially when we wouldn’t give a thought to the prosecution of the plumber.

There is no objective reason to conclude that this concern has validity any more than there was about the 2020 election being stolen. We all know what price Fox News paid for that fantasy.
