Pablo Picasso (Brian Pfohl) and Albert Einstein (Tony Roy) square off in one of their “art vs. science” confrontations in the comedy “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” which opens this weekend at the Community Little Theatre in Auburn. Comedian Steve Martin’s absurd comedy of historical fiction has Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso meet in a bar in Paris in 1904, shortly before each is catapulted to fame. The two celebrities of science and art are surrounded by humorous supporting characters from the turn of the century – and beyond. Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. on June 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, and 24; and at 2 p.m. on June 18 and 25. Community Little Theatre is located at 30 Academy St., Auburn. Tickets and more information are available at laclt.com or by calling 207-783-0958. Tickets may also be purchased at the door. Submitted photo by DNA Photography
