WINSLOW — Hunter Foard pitched 6 1/3 innings of no-hit ball before Tristan Anderson finished it off to give Erskine a 7-0 win over Winslow in baseball action Friday.
Foard struck out 17 while walking only one. Anderson came in and struck out the final to batters to complete the no-hitter. Sam Boynton had a double, a single, scored three runs and added an RBI for Erskine. Beck Jorgensen added two singles and an RBI.
CONY 15, BELFAST 3: Trent Hayward drove in five runs on three hits to lead the Rams to the win in Belfast.
Hayward two doubles and a single for Cony (2-0) while Landon Foster and Jordan Benedict added run-scoring doubles. Kam Douin earned the win on the mound, allowing three runs on four hits over five innings while striking out nine.
Curtis Littlefield and Luke Littlefield each had RBI hits for Belfast (0-1).
MT. ABRAM 22, HALL-DALe 4: Logan Dube had three singles and seven RBIs to lead the Roadrunners to the win in North Anson.
Trevor Plouffe added a triple, two singles and three RBIs for Mt. Abram (1-0) while Kaden Pilsbury had a double, two singles and three RBIs.
Hall-Dale falls to 0-1.
SOFTBALL
WINSLOW 10, ERSKINE 2: Emma Michaud tossed a no-hitter, striking out 13 and walking three in the Black Raiders’ win in Winslow.
The Black Raiders (1-1) scored four runs in the second inning and three in the fourth and sixth.
Erskine falls to 0-2.
HALL-DALE 13, MT. ABRAM 0: Marie Benoit had a triple, two singles and four RBIs to lead the Bulldogs to the win in North Anson.
Ashlynn Donahue added a double, two singles and two RBIs for Hall-Dale (1-0) while Torie Tibbetts had two singles and three RBIs and Lucy Gray and Zoe Soule two singles and two RBIs apiece.
Mt. Abram falls to 0-1.
MADISION 16, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 3: Kylee Furbush doubled and tripled and teammate Mackenzie Robbins drove in six runs on four hits to lead the Bulldgos (1-0) past the Falcons (0-1) in Game 1 of a doubleheader in Rumford.
Furbush also got the win in the circle.
For Mountain Valley, Brooke Bennett and Mallorie Bourett each had two hits.
MADISON 8, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 4: The Bulldogs (2-0) rode a seven-run second inning in the second game to earn a doubleheader sweep of the Falcons (0-2) in Rumford.
Mackenzie Robbins had another big game for Madison, driving in three runs on three hits.
Emma Clukey had three hits and an RBI for Mountain Valley, while Lily Boulanger scored twice and Lanee Boucher tripled, scored and drove in a run.
GIRLS LACROSSE
LINCOLN 15, ERSKINE 6: Marley LeBel paced Lincoln (1-1) with six goals and two assists in a win over Erskine (1-2) at South China.
Mariam Delisle added five goals, Celia Brinkler scored twice, and Abby Kopp and Allison St. Cyr also scored for Lincoln.
MT. BLUE 16, LAWRENCE 4: Chloe Roberts punched in five goals and earned five assists in the Cougars’ victory in Farmington.
Talia Kidders, Emma Dunn and Lily Huntley each turned in a hat trick for Mt. Blue (2-0). May Kallett had one goal.
For Lawrence (0-2), Kalee Nutter, Madison Chamberlin, Whitney Churchill and Zoie Ward each scored a goal.
