This letter is in regards to the March 23 column, “Maine crisis pregnancy centers only serve to deceive.” The writer begins with Christians as “Christian nationalists.” Deceptive. If connecting dots and following the money, one might think Christians were a political party. Christians are involved in political parties. Some aren’t. Christianity is a movement that values life, loves God and loves people — even atheists! Not a political party.

The writer is lying in judgment (thinks he’s God?) of CPCs, saying they lie, shame and pressure women. I’ve had experience with CPCs. Has he had objective, free/critical thinking experience with CPCs? They do the opposite which is what the Left, etc. always do: accuse the Right of everything they are guilty of — deception.

Truth is, CPCs exist to give non-tainted facts and love to distressed women who may be in a financial bind, traumatized, have mental health issues, in an identity crisis, etc. so they can make a choice that will ultimately be to their benefit, knowing they did the right thing for their baby and family, with no moral regrets.

Deception was obvious during the governor’s press release about four murderous bills, one which would have no time limit on when to kill the baby, up to birth. Asked (three times!) what the time limit would be, the cut off, the deception, was, “The decision is between the mother and her doctor,” not answering the question — just like the writer who was critical of CPCs.
