FAIRFIELD — Cards and Carbs with the Recycled Shakespeare Company is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 15, at Fairfield House of Pizza, 207 Main St.

For $20 each participants can get the materials and instructions to make three springtime cards while having treats, tea and coffee. The company will perform a small sampler of its work.
This event is open and accessible to all, according to a news release from Lyn Rowden, company founder.
No previous skill required; everyone is guaranteed greeting cards. Those who attend can order lunch on their own at noon or stay for dinner.
All proceeds go to help the nonprofit offer free environmentally friendly theater throughout Maine.
