Skowhegan Savings recently held its annual all employee meeting and recognition dinner. Over 150 employees from 12 branch locations where in attendance to honor their colleagues receiving awards for employee of the year, integrity service, employees of the quarter and years of service for 2022.
David Cyr, president and CEO of Skowhegan Savings, credited employees for their “unwavering dedication to your colleagues, our customers and our communities.”
The most anticipated award, Employee of the Year, went to Lindsey LeBlanc, commercial portfolio manager, who has been with the bank for nine years. Leblanc has served in prior roles in the bank’s call center and assisting customers with their electronic services before being promoted to the commercial lending team.
“Lindsey is responsive, knowledgeable and always willing to serve external and internal customers,” said Steve Thomas, SVP senior commercial lender. “She is prompt, accurate, has her eye on meeting customer expectations and leads with an incredible passion to ensure the bank’s long-term success.”
The Madison branch team received the Integrity Service Award. The award goes to a department that has demonstrated going above and beyond in upholding the bank’s mission of making communities a better place to live and work. In 2022, Skowhegan Savings employees overall donated over 2,000 volunteer service hours to their communities.
“I’m always impressed with the Madison branch as the team seems to not only know all of their customers by name, but also what is going on with their family and lives,” said Cyr. “They show genuine interest in their well-being while providing a professional and valued service while having fun amongst themselves and supporting one another. They actively participate in all of the activities in town and do so with a smile and true gratitude.”
Linda Luellan, loan servicing specialist, was recognized for her 25 years of service to the bank.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to recognize Linda on 25 years of service at Skowhegan Savings Bank,” said Jennifer Grenier, AVP loan servicing manager. “She has held various positions over the years from head teller to loan processor and recently was promoted to loan servicing specialist. Linda is a positive and knowledgeable asset to the bank and all of our customers.”
